Okay, so, I am really not a fan of Iron Man... I know there is an existing marvel character named Iron Man,. but I know little about this superhero. I was just invited by my best pals to watch Iron Man last Saturday and I can say that I loved the film. It was really cool. I wanted something like his computer... cool... I really did appreciate the movie. Like Transformers, I appreciated the movie. I love the effects and the cause. Hehehe.. World Peace!!!! Cool! Hope there is a sequel to that film...

Watched the movie last Saturday night...I rated it with 4 stars because of this:
Although the movie's storyline was too shallow for a romantic setting- its just a love lost and new love found, the visuals and the insertion of the songs was the one which really made me fall in love with the film.

The editing was really good. The transition between scenes was good. The insertion of the songs were also good. Visually the film really gave the Beatles something to be proud of. The concept of the movie was really good. It just shows how much thought and creaivity was put in to set-up a film such as Across the Universe. The symbolisms were also good.

i had to put the year in because there were rumors that Juno (2008) had the same genre/story as Jenny,Juno in 2005 which was a Korean movie. And the difference is in 2008, Juno was girl, in 2005, Juno was a boy. hehehehe.

I have watched Jenny,Juno last year, 2007 and saw similarities. But it bored me so I really didn't have the chance to finish the movie. But well, when I saw Juno, it kinda got me very focused since the approach was not too "classical" or shall I say traditional, unlike Jenny,Juno. The witty and outspoken personality of Juno captured my attention. A good way of portraying and explaining teenage pregnancy, premarital sex and how to handle it.

Unforgettable quote: "Fetus (babies inside your tummy) have fingernails"

I should have written something on this way before. But i had this lazy-to-review mode for a couple of months, which shows the sudden change in my page.

Anyway, watched Sweeny Todd and I think it was good movie. Although at first, I felt a bit bored because the opening scene was a dark environment, Johnny Depp sings his piece. Well, after that scene everything became really interesting and at the same time intriguing.

What I love most about this movie was the transition of Mrs. Lovett's dream of building this family-like image with Sweeney and Toby. The transition of the scen from a gray-dark environment to a lovely , bright setting which just only shows that her dream was purely innocent and loving.

It is one heck of a musical/dark movie. Johnny Depp never fails to amuse his audience with his talent

I just have to say something on this... Clearly I've been silent for weks now... Away from the "light"... Anyway... I just love the Transformers movie. Although many people kept on saying "Why is Bumblebee a Camaro... was he a Camaro during the original days of the Transformers? He was a Beetle right?" But... I'll give it a two thumbs up.. the effects and animation of th robots were incredible... and it was really funny for some parts of the movie... :P

PS
And the posters are also good....gooooooooooooooooood......

A really terrifying movie, well, its not terrifying because there were ghosts or unusual things, but the story itself was really terrifying with the play of characters who were both like psychologically disturbed that seems somewhat freaky. Imagine a 14 year old teenage girl castrating a 32 year old photographer. Why? Because the girl believes that Jeff, is responsible for a teenager's death. The ending of the movie was really good... it ended with... "..or not". The movie pulled me closer...closer to really listen and see.. not like any movies where I would get up to have a galss of water or answer the phone. Watching this movie made me feel like I was in a room with just the TV, DVD player, pillow and fan. That's it. A different world. HAhaha. But it was really good.

Borrowed this movie from a friend just out of curiosity. Why? Because everywhere I go and everytime there are pirated DVD's ( ^___^ ) I always see Paris Hilton in the front cover. Well, I have other Lampoon movies like Van Wilder, well just got curious about Paris Hilton's acting abilities. Well, all I can say is that she is a modern day Barbie doll. Blonde, tall, slim, just like Barbie. Nyehehehe. Well, the film is quite hilarious and at time eekie, especially during the time where the "mom" let the other girls look at her new boob job- geez. It was awful. Full of stitches and things. Although it was not real, it was yuckie. Hehehehehe. Sororities. Friendships. From duck to swan.Oridnary girls vs the popular, pretty girls- realistic and true. That's it.

Sprited Away is so far one of the best animated films I've seen. This was made by Hayao Miyazaki that earned praises from film critiques and viewers as well. The film is about a young girl named Chihiro who was trapped in a world where the gods live, bathe and eat. In order to live in that world, she worked for Yubaba and found new friends like Zeniba, No Face, the big baby and Haku. The film is about courage, friendship and trust.
